The turbo bag isolates the heat produced by your turbocharger, helping to prevent heat from damaging components surrounding the turbocharger within your engine compartment such as wiring, hoses and plastics. When the heat is isolated in the turbocharger it improves turbocharger efficiency by keeping the exhaust gases hot, resulting in faster spool up of the turbocharger, and thus less turbo lag and a more linear power curve.
