Due to popular demand and excellent feedback from our customers who have been running this setup on their AE86s, we are now providing our New Group-D Rear Coilovers with the complete front BC Coilovers as a kit, for the same price as a complete set of front and rear BC Type RA coilovers (This saves you €100 when compared to purchasing both pairs separately!).
This solves the increasing problem of sourcing rare AE86 front struts, or converting your existing struts to coilovers, as the BCs come complete as a new strut with spindle. (You must use BC roll centre adjusters with these fronts, available here)
These fronts, combined with our New Group-D rears, offers the best of both worlds to our track, drift and street 86 owning customers.
Spring rate guide:
Fronts:
BC Racing BR Series Type RA fronts come with 3 spring rates as standard:
8KG: We recommend 8kg springs for faster street or circuit use, especially if there is a little more weight up front with a 1UZ or SR20 engine swap. 8KG are also recommended for 4AGE drift cars to be used in conjunction with the 4.5kg rears.
6KG: These offer a more comfortable ride for street use and work great with 3.6kg rears for a good compromise between comfort and handling for most road users.
5kg: These offer the ultimate in comfortable ride for your 86. We recommend a slightly higher ride height with 5kg springs.
Rears:
We would always advise a customer to select their rear spring rate with respect to the front, in order to keep the car's balance intact for the desired ratio of oversteer to understeer.
Hard: 230lbs/in sq (4.1kg/mm2). These are our traditional fast road or track spring and work very well on all types of drift use even on 86's running quite wide semi slick rear tyres.
Medium: 180lbs/in sq (3.2kg/mm2). The medium option is the jack of all trades allowing for a great compromise between track and street for a fast road/occasional track or drift car
Soft: 150lbs/in sq (2.7kg/mm2). We offer this softer option to cater for more street use for extra comfort. Of course they can be used for extra rear grip in many racing or grip application or in wet weather conditions

returns & refund
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Work Wheels are made to order and non-returnable and non-refundable
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Depending on the situation the item may be refunded minus the transaction fee from the payment option you selected
