Rear Subframe Mounting Kit for Nissan Silvia/240SX S13 to AE86 Chassis

Brand new for 2025 at Group-D is out redesigned Independent suspension mounting kit for AE86/KE70

Included in this kit are the 4 mounting points needed to mount a Nissan Silvia S13 Subframe into an ae86/ke70 chassis

This is a weld on kit and will require welding to the ae86 or KE70 chassis

This kit will take all the work out of what is a pretty labour intensive job to do correctly and most importantly it will mount the subframe in a position where the anti squat geometry works well in the ae86 chassis.

Most AE86's with a Silvia subframe installed do not handle correctly due to incorrect positioning of the subframe. We have done years on testing and have perfected the mounting location so your ae86 handles perfectly

We have prioritised the Anti Squat geometry as the most important factor in this install. Doing this gives the best balance and driver feedback. If you run your car very low then you will see good benefits from running a pair of drop knuckles for roll centre and kinematics corrections

Mounts are welded together and final welding to the ae86 floorpan will have to be carried out by someone qualified to do so

You need to cut your chassis to clear the subframe. WATCH INSTALL VIDEO BELOW

Clearance needs to be made for the Tension/Traction Rods. WATCH INSTALL VIDEO BELOW

This Kit will give you S13/R32 Subframe mounting points!

S13/R32 Subframe:

There are many different bushes available for the subframe mounting points be they stock, polyurethane or aluminium. Depending on what bushed you choose you may have to make some subframe clearance around the diff tunnel area

S14/S15/R33/R34 Subframe:

A S14 Subframe can be fitted using subframe conversion bushes. However the S14 subframe will not fit as well as the S13 subframe and will require more modification to clear the Tension/Traction Rod mount

Obviously the original panhard rod mount needs to be removed

Front lower 4 link mounts need to be modified

Included in this kit is the following:

- 2x Rear Subframe to chassis weld on mounts with 2x weld in fill plates

- 2x Front Subframe to chassis weld on mounts

- 2x Tension/Traction Mount clearance floor plates

- 1x Chassis cutting stencil

- 1x Floor cutting stencil

- 4x M20 Lock nuts and washers

Also Fits KE70 (confirmed) and probably other old school live axle Toyotas (Not confirmed lol)

Nissan Silvia S13 rear track width is 1530mm 

AE86 rear track width is 1432mm on the disc brake rear axle

Your rear track width will be 98mm wider total or 49mm per side
